Workplace Wellbeing Day

At STS, our people are at the heart of everything we do — and Workplace Wellbeing Day 2025 was a fantastic opportunity to show just how much we value and care for our team. This annual celebration is all about prioritising mental and physical health, and this year’s events across STS were nothing short of a success.

Our Head Office team had the pleasure of celebrating over the course of two days, making the most of both wellness and team bonding.

To kick things off, the team took a rejuvenating trip to the Hot Pod Sauna in Kilmurrin, Co. Waterford. With the sun shining and the sea glistening, everyone enjoyed a refreshing swim in the ocean followed by a calming sauna session overlooking the coastline. It was the perfect way to unwind, recharge, and enjoy some time together outside the office.

On Workplace Wellbeing Day itself, we kicked off the morning with a delicious breakfast spread featuring freshly baked muffins and scones. To add a little extra joy to the day, each team member received a voucher for a free drink at local favourite Two Brothers Coffee — a lovely way to treat ourselves and support a great local business.

Of course, the wellbeing festivities weren’t just confined to Head Office. Across all our sites in Ireland, teams joined in with a variety of wellness-inspired treats and activities. From homemade overnight oats to fresh fruit platters, healthy snacks, and yes — a few donuts for balance — the effort put in across the board really reflected the spirit of the day.

The sun even made a welcome appearance, bringing a bright and cheerful energy to the celebrations. There was a real buzz of positivity at each site, and the smiles on everyone’s faces truly said it all. Whether it was sharing food, stepping out for some fresh air, or simply taking a moment to pause and connect, it was clear that the day made a meaningful impact.
