STS Group is a stakeholder in the communities where we work and we engage with and support local initiatives including GAA and rugby teams, we sponsor local and national charities and support fundraising for worthy projects. We continue to deepen our social responsibility concerns and welcome engagement with appropriate initiatives. We regard the provision of valuable employment and apprenticeship career opportunities for young people in the communities where we work as an integral part of our corporate social responsibility.

High Field Rugby
STS Group is a proud sponsor of Highfield RFC. The club was founded in 1930 and named after two residential roadways which were built on the land where the team trained, namely Highfield Avenue and Highfield Avenue West going on to become the first club in Munster to own its own ground even though it was still a junior club at the time of purchase. Over the years STS Groups sponsorship has helped the club provide their teams with new jerseys, training bags and tops. STS will continue to support this fantastic club which facilities hundreds of people in the community from under 6’s up to senior level.
Waterford Camogie
Camogie was recently granted UNESCO intangible Cultural Heritage status and Waterford Camogie brings together players of all skill levels from the 19 local clubs’ across the county. We’re thrilled to be supporting this thriving sport for young women in Waterford. Speaking on behalf of STS Group, Managing Director, Richie Hogan, emphasised the importance of supporting local clubs and initiatives within the communities in which STS Group operate, “The growth of the company on the international stage has been phenomenal over the past several years and whilst we add new regions to our business, our head office remains in Waterford. Being able to provide support to Waterford Camogie is a great opportunity to give back to the roots of the company and the origin of our success”.
SETU Wildcats
Founded in 1983 the club is one of the leading women’s basketball clubs in Ireland. Over the last 40 years competing, SETU Wildcats Senior team have consistently ranked among the top teams nationally with many players progressing onto international level.
Finance Director, Terry Kelleher, emphasised the importance of supporting local clubs “the SETU Wildcats Basketball club sponsorship it is a great opportunity to raise the profile of women in sport across the Southeast of Ireland and it’s an honour to give back to the local community”.
Ballygunner GAA
Ballygunner GAA a community-based hurling club established 1954 and is at the heart of STS Groups many community initiatives. STS are honoured to have been supporting Ballygunner GAA since 2015. Over the years this sponsorship has helped the club provide their teams with new jerseys, training bags and tops. STS will continue to support this fantastic club which facilities hundreds of people in the community from as young as 6 up to both minor and senior level.
