World Clean Up Day hero

World Clean Up Day

This year World Cleanup Day fell on 18th September and to celebrate STS Group launched a Beach Clean Up Initiative.

Last week, a total of 35 STS Volunteers headed out to beaches across Ireland, UAE and Bahrain removing a total of 44KG of waste from our beautiful coastlines.

In particular, single-use plastic waste is a very modern problem that will take centuries to go away and, if unchecked, might never do so. After decades of a global ‘throw-away’ culture, the challenges of waste management are increasing.

STS Group are delighted to have taken part and helped towards creating a cleaner planet.
