Amerenco Solar Farm, Carrigaline, Cork

Carrigaline is one of three new solar farms that Amerenco is investing in, in Cork. The overall development includes the solar farm, substations and grid routes.

The Project consists of three site sections:

• The Grid Route
• The PV Plant Substation (ESBN and independent power producer (IPP) sides)
• Overall PV Plant

STS Groups scope on this project includes the Electrical Balance of Plant Contract (EBoP) consists of the following:

• Full civils and electrical design and commissioning
• Grid connection MV ducting and MV cable installation, jointing and testing
• ESBN solar farm substation construction (Civils & Electrical)
• IPP solar farm substation construction (Civils & Electrical)
