We’re delighted to share that we are main sponsors of the Waterford Camogie Team.
Camogie was recently granted UNESCO intangible Cultural Heritage status and Waterford Camogie brings together players of all skill levels from the 19 local clubs’ across the county. We’re thrilled to be supporting this thriving sport for young women in Waterford.
The senior team are playing in Division 1B and will be managed by Seán Power, who brings a wealth of experience to the team having managed Waterford minor Hurlers and U-21 All Ireland champions. The girls have started the season strong, winning their first two games of the season. We are routing for the team this weekend as they take on Limerick at home on Saturday.
Speaking on behalf of STS Group, Managing Director, Richie Hogan, emphasised the importance of supporting local clubs and initiatives within the communities in which STS Group operate, “The growth of the company on the international stage has been phenomenal over the past several years and whilst we add new regions to our business, our head office remains in Waterford. Being able to provide support to Waterford Camogie is a great opportunity to give back to the roots of the company and the origin of our success”.
STS Group would like to thank all involved (Chairperson Sheila O’Donohoe, Treasurer Kevin Barry and, Senior Team Liaison Vinnie Codd, Club Secretary Ita Murphy, PRO Ruth Flynn and Senior Team Manager Sean Power) for the opportunity to provide sponsorship and wish the team every success with the upcoming season.
