The Opportunity

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Construction Planner to join our team on the west side of Dublin. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning activities and progress reporting of the electrical works for interesting and challenging mission critical projects. This role is critical to ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope by translating complex requirements into actionable plans, tracking progress, and providing clear, data-driven reports to stakeholders.

 

Here are some of the key duties of this role:

  • Develop detailed construction schedules for baseline agreement with client and post baseline impacted schedules as required.
  • Ensuring accuracy and timely updating of construction schedule.
  • Complete schedule health checks prior to baselining for accuracy, integrity and critical path validation.
  • Resource loading schedules, producing and tracking applicable KPIs.
  • Monitoring budgets for scope growth/changes
  • Track planned versus actual EV progress.
  • Working with team members to ensure systems in place to capture and log any issues via the appropriate change control mechanisms
  • Attending site meetings as required (internal and client based)
  • Productivity tracking of trades/craft labour Spent vs Earned hours

 

Key Qualifications Required:

  • Electrical trade or tertiary-level electrical engineering qualification.
  • 5+ years’ experience in planner/scheduler roles, ideally focused on large-scale construction/engineering projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, with detailed and accurate report writing.
  • Proven experience using project planning softwares (e.g: Primevera, MS Project)

 

Desirable but not Essential

  • Mission Critical MEP projects experience
