Ballygunner GAA a community-based hurling club established 1954 and it stands proudly at the heart of STS Group’s many community initiatives.
STS has been honoured to support Ballygunner GAA since 2015. Over the years this sponsorship has helped the club provide their teams with new jerseys, training gear and essential equipment. Our support helps nurture local talent & ensures players can thrive within the sport up to minor and senior levels.
The clubs success is well known. Ballygunner Hurling Club is one of Ireland’s most honoured teams, having won a fantastic 11 consecutive Waterford Senior Hurling Championships, with their latest victory coming in 2024. This incredible streak is a testament to the clubs discipline and commitment to excellence. In 2022, Ballygunner made national headlines by securing their first All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, capping decades of hard work and setting a new standard in club hurling.
