Roisin Brosnan and Annie Treen nominated for Apprentice of the Year
We’re delighted to share that two of our electrical apprentices, Roisin Brosnan and Annie Treen, have been nominated for the Apprentice of the Year Awards.
The nominations were recognised at an Apprenticeship Ireland event, which brought together apprentices, employers and training partners to celebrate the people and programmes shaping the next generation of skilled workers in Ireland.
Both Roisin and Annie have been with STS Group for over a year. They recently completed Phase 2 of their off-the-job training and both excelled in their exams, building on the practical experience they gain on site every day. It’s a great reflection of their commitment, their willingness to learn and the standard they set for themselves.
Seeing two of our own recognised at national level is a proud moment for everyone at STS Group, and a well-deserved one. Well done to you both!
Apprenticeships at STS Group
Apprenticeships are a core part of how we build our team. As an electrical and instrumentation installation contractor, we know the strength of our business depends on skilled, motivated people, and we’re committed to developing them from the very start of their careers.
Our apprentices learn on live projects alongside experienced colleagues, while completing their off-the-job training phases with the support of their training providers. We invest time and resources in making sure they have the guidance, supervision and opportunities they need to grow, both technically and professionally.
Annie and Roisin are great examples of what that investment can achieve. We look forward to seeing where their careers take them, and we’ll continue to support the next generation of electricians and technicians at STS Group.
