Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) Safety Demonstration

On-site safety was the focus this week at one of Dussmann Technical Solutions’ confidential pharmaceutical projects in Dublin. A hands-on demonstration, led by experts from Nationwide Safety Training Network Limited, covered Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) usage and, crucially, detailed rescue procedures.

We were pleased to welcome Stephen Ryan and the team from Nationwide Safety Training Network Limited, who led the session. Their expert guidance provided our team with valuable insight into MEWP-to-MEWP rescue techniques, as well as emergency response procedures for a fall from the platform.

This live demonstration gave our crew a practical, in-depth look at what to do in the event of an emergency—reinforcing both their knowledge and confidence in handling high-risk scenarios. As always, keeping our teams safe and prepared on-site is a top priority.
