Our Lon 03 project achieved a significant health and safety milestone at the end of January, reaching 100,000 safe working hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI).
A Lost Time Injury (LTI) is any workplace injury or incident that results in a worker being unable to perform their normal duties or attend work on their next scheduled shift. Reaching 100,000 hours LTI-free is a strong indicator of consistent safe working practices, effective risk management, and a strong safety culture across all teams on site.
To recognise this achievement, STS hosted a site standdown this morning to thank all contractors and their teams for their continued commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards. The standdown was also attended by the client’s Project Director, highlighting the importance of collaboration in delivering a safe project.
Following the standdown, pizzas were provided in the canteen as a small token of appreciation for everyone’s contribution to achieving this milestone and supporting a strong safety-first culture on the Lon 03 project
