A big congratulations to everyone who took part in the Collen Pole2Pole 2020 Charity Cycle this weekend. STS were delighted to welcome participants from across the world from Belgium to the USA and contribute 2269 KM to the overall target distance.

The event took place over the course of one weekend from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th September bringing project teams together to collectively cycle the distance from the North to South Pole, covering a combined distance of 20,020km. The event catered for a variety of fitness levels as participants chose their route and distance. The fundraising event was in support of the local communities in which Collen Construction operates, and proceeds are in aid of local charities in Ireland, Germany and Sweden:
•    Sean O Casey Community Centre (Youth & Senior Citizen Support Service)
•    St Joseph's Primary School
•    Aoibhneas (Women & Children Refuge Centre)
•    The Light House (Homeless Support Service)
•    Inner City Helping Homeless
•    CROI (Heart Disease & Stroke Support)
•    See Change & Shine (Ending Mental Health Stigma and Mental Health Frontline Support)
•    Strange Boat Donor Foundation (Circle of Life Commemorative Garden)
•    KF Heros Sweden (Para-Athletics)
•    Västerås Stadsmission (Women Support Service)
